Post-wrist fracture donning
"I have worn open-toe thigh-high Style Sheer stockings for years for varicose veins & DVT prevention, and can put them on with the help of the grippy donning gloves & the slick toe-cover. When I broke my left wrist and had to wear a cast for 6 weeks, application was hopeless until I tried the Doff & Donner & Rolly. I tried other donners and they could not be done 1-handed, but i could do it with the Rolly & Doff & Donn. It took a while to figure out how to use the tools, but when I finally did (I recommend the videos on YouTube), it was easy, though I still need the grippy gloves & & toe-cover. My cast is off & wrist is strong enough to not need these tools any longer, but I expect the arthritis in my hands may one day make the Doff & Donner worth using again. The pair is expensive, but it was worth it to be able to donn the stockings by myself."
